Renata Fialho

consultant clinical psychologist and honorary research fellow

Dr Fialho is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Research Fellow, with extensive experience working with adults with mental health difficulties.

Currently, Dr Fialho works in an NHS specialist service having developed extensive experience with Post covid syndrome, and emotional difficulties associated with chronic illness, such as Chronic pain, Fibromyalgia and Functional Neurological Disorder. She is actively involved in research, having worked on Suicide Presentations to the Emergency Department, in collaboration with City London University. In addition, Dr Fialho works for a specialist service at HCA Harley Street with a particular interest in neurodiversity in oncology.

Dr Fialho is a specialist in neurodevelopmental presentations, offering assessments and post diagnosis support. Dr Fialho is also actively involved in neurodiversity and sports, in particular swimming.

Dr Fialho has published in several academic journals and is still actively involved in mental health research, with an active role in teaching.

Dr Fialho is passionate about developing her professional skills and has experience with various psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Social Recovery Therapy and Solution Focus Therapy.

Emily Ellis

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Ellis is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with adults with complex mental health difficulties and currently works in the NHS within a forensic mental health hospital. Her role focuses on the assessment and treatment of adults within the service, informed by a range of therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Dr Ellis is trained in the assessment of autism spectrum conditions and cognitive functioning.

Dr Ellis is passionate about evidence based and person centred care and is currently involved in mental health related research.

Jenni Knight

PA and Peer Support Lead

Jenni provides PA and administrative support to Mind Enquire. With lived experience  of neurodivergence, Jenni offers one to one peer support sessions.  She has also co-delivered sessions of the ‘Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism’ to health and social care staff across Surrey. 

Jenni is married with two sons and a crazy cat at home. Her passions are raising awareness and celebrating neurodiversity whilst guiding people to support if required.
